Celebrate that very special day with KEWPIE®

Few characters have made an impact on American life like the famous KEWPIE®. Created in 1909 by Rose O'Neill, Kewpie® first appeared as magazine illustrations and in advertisements. Its greatest impact was achieved with the introduction of the porcelain bisque dolls and figurines, which were first sold in 1913. “Kewpie with Love” introduces 3” figurines for every occasion – including that special wedding day.

The bride is dressed in a 1950’s white chiffon and satin wedding gown with an appliqué embroidered princess seam, short sleeve top, which peaks at her waistline and joins the gathered, full bouffant, ballerina length skirt. Her groom wears a classic 1950’s tuxedo suit, a narrow black tie, pressed white oxford shirt and boutonnière, which complete the traditional black and white look of the era.
